Terms of use
What you get, what you don't, and what we promise.
Last updated 28 September 2026
1. What this service is
Quick Cert Academy publishes online courses covering the classroom portion of training for trades and support roles. Courses are free. A Certificate of Completion is an optional paid record of having finished one.
2. What a certificate is — and is not
A Certificate of Completion states that a named person completed a named course on a given date, with a given exam score. That is all it states.
It is not, and must not be presented as:
- a licence, a qualification or a government-recognised credential;
- evidence of hands-on or practical training;
- a workplace evaluation of competence;
- authorisation to operate equipment at any site.
Those remain your employer’s responsibility. Whether an employer accepts our certificate as part of their own training record is entirely their decision, and we make no promise that any particular employer will.
3. Your account
An account is an email address and a password. Keep the password to yourself: anyone who has it can sign in as you, see your progress and reach your certificates. The account is yours alone and may not be shared or transferred.
We cannot yet reset a forgotten password automatically. If you lose access, write to help@quickcertacademy.com from the address on the account and we will restore it by hand. Automated reset is coming; until it does, this is the honest position rather than a support queue you would discover the hard way.
You may close your account at any time by writing to privacy@quickcertacademy.com. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
4. Honest use
You agree not to:
- enter someone else’s name on a certificate, or take an exam on another person’s behalf;
- alter a certificate, or present a revoked one as valid;
- republish or resell our course material;
- attempt to extract answer keys, or interfere with the exam.
We may revoke a certificate obtained in breach of this section, and a revoked certificate shows as revoked on its verification page. Where a certificate is revoked for a reason that is our fault rather than yours, we refund it.
5. Payment and refunds
A certificate costs the price shown at checkout, paid once, with no subscription. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card details.
If the certificate is wrong because of something we did — the wrong name, the wrong course, a certificate that never arrived — tell us and we will fix it or refund it. If you simply change your mind, write to help@quickcertacademy.com within 14 days and we will refund it, provided the certificate has not already been presented to a third party.
6. Course content
Course material is drafted with the help of AI tools and reviewed by a person before publication. We take accuracy seriously and correct errors quickly — but training material is general, regulations change, and your workplace has specifics we cannot know. Where a course names a regulation, read the regulation.
Courses, lessons, questions, illustrations and the site itself remain our property. You may study them; you may not republish, resell or redistribute them.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the site and every verification link working continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Verification pages for issued certificates are the part we work hardest to keep live, because other people rely on them.
8. Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that: we are not liable for any decision an employer makes about your training, for any outcome of work you perform, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us.
This site does not replace training your employer is legally required to provide. If an employer treats our certificate as sufficient on its own, they are mistaken, and we say so on the certificate and on every verification page.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and we email account holders about material changes before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means accepting the updated terms.
10. Who you are contracting with, and under which law
This service is operated by Atx Digital, LLC, registered in Dover, Delaware under registry number 3706059.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and any dispute arising from them belongs to the courts there. If you are a consumer, this does not take away any right you have to bring a claim under the law of the country you live in.
